We're shipping internationally! We have a new Ireland warehouse shipping our iPad cases to Europe, and Canada and Australia will have similarly local distributors soon! We've also set up a solution for some of our international customers to buy their iPad cases in their home currencies (e.g., CAD, euro, GBP, and AUD). Hard at Work for Hard Candy iPad Cases

David, Hard Candy's head design genius, is hard at work thinking up new iPad cases to protect, stylize, rubberize and personalize your iPad. A major step of the design process is creating the blueprints -- images, renderings, design specifications -- for the new cases. David does most of this from his office in Brentwood, where he has access to powerful design and imaging software that's integral to making his iPad case designs a reality. The ratio of computers to people in this office? 5 to 1!

This iPad push has been crazy. My team has been really kicking ass on both sides of the Pacific. And now Europe is getting ready for the big launch! Way to go Mikaila, Kim, Debbie, David, Fay, and Lawrence!

There's been a lot stress with this launch and I'm fortunate to have some Triathlon friends that push me past my limits. 2 races in the last 3 weeks and crossed the line first in Age Group in both.. (Did get a penalty in the second race :-).

Behind the Scenes - iPad Case Factory Tour

What does it take to launch an iPad case line? Let's try four weeks of sleepless nights, shipping our CEO and head designer off to China, convincing 1,200 factory workers to work through Chinese New Year, a specially chartered 747 to fly all of those cases back to the U.S. That should do it!

Still Rolling Out the iPad Cases

More prototypes arrived in the office today! The new Sleek Skin colors look fantastic! Check out the blue, which is more of a transparent baby blue. Definitely a fun color for blinging out your iPad. We're happy with this color, and it's a good thing because making these colors is not an easy or hazard-free task (just ask Tim about all of the fumes he sat through while watching the dying process)!
